Hello KNOMI readers,
The third edition of London Craft Week officially begins tomorrow and some of our partner boutiques are taking part by revealing how some of their iconic products are crafted. This is an unmissable opportunity to gain an exclusive insight into some of the best British brands and how their products come to life.
Learn about the construction of the iconic British rubberised mac, which is still handmade today in Glasgow. The 'Making a Mackintosh' event will see a demonstration of the traditional making techniques and the modern production methods hosted by the Mackintosh Factory Manager, Scott Sheridan alongside the Coat Making Manager, John McGuire.
For the duration of London Craft Week, visitors are invited to peruse Hostem's curated guesthouse, The New Road Residence. This immersive environment showcases furniture from Pierre Jeanneret, Lina Bo Bardi, Faye Toogood, Max Lamb, Christopher Howe and more alongside lifestyle products from Paris based brand CristaSeya.
